Introducing AI Translate in Storyblok

Not too long ago, reaching across the globe to connect with others was a crazy dream. Today, it’s as simple as logging onto the internet. However, there’s still a language barrier that modern users have to contend with. Skilled translators are often the best answer, but they’re not always the most time or cost-effective.
That’s where Storyblok comes in. We’ve harnessed the power of AI so you can get instant translations in multiple languages – all without ever having to leave your CMS.
How Storyblok’s AI Translate works
This new feature is an optional setting that helps you create AI-driven translations of your content in multiple languages. Just set it up, enable it, and configure at least one additional language.
Once you’re in a story, open the Languages menu, hover over a language other than the default, and select the magic wand icon.

After deciding whether you want to overwrite fields that have already been translated, you can kick off the translation. And voilà – story-wide translations at your fingertips.
Or, if you only want to translate a few lines of content, you can go field-by-field. Just select a language other than a default from the Languages menu, enable a field for translation, and then select the same magic wand icon in the submenu.

Our AI Translate feature is a powerful tool, but like any AI, it may not always be perfect. We recommend editing and reviewing your translations before publication.
Want to manage multiple different versions of your story? With the Dimensions app, you can quickly create an exact copy of your story. Then, use AI Translate to create a new-language clone of your story in whatever folder you want.

All plans have access to AI Translate. Using it will cost AI tokens. At time of publication, all plans receive 250,000 tokens per month. You can check on your token usage in the app by going to Settings > Configuration > AI Settings.
